Dr. Shaunda Kelly, a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2005. In 2008, she completed her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
With a background in both dental and medical fields, Dr. Kelly received further training in General Surgery in 2009 and completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in June 2011. Dr. Kelly specializes in oral reconstruction, facial bone regeneration, and the treatment of various facial pain conditions, including neuralgia, fibromyalgia, and temporomandibular joint disorders. She has co-authored publications on topics such as bone grafts with implants and treatment options for chronic temporomandibular joint pain.
In her practice, Dr. Kelly incorporates regenerative therapy, including stem cell therapy, to address maxillofacial bone regeneration, facial pain, and TMJ issues. She is also a member of the American Academy of Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine and completed her fellowship in Stem Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine in December 2017.
Dr. Kelly is committed to managing and, in some cases, eliminating chronic pain through alternative therapies and is excited to be a part of the DOCS Dental team.
