Dr. Shannon Allen earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and her Doctor of
Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her time in school, she was
awarded the Dr. Leslie J. Braun Jr. Award for excellence in treatment planning as well as the Brian D.
Stone Memorial Award, which is given to dental school graduates who are committed to volunteerism
and public service for people with special needs. Dr. Allen provides patient centered care and strives to
create a comfortable environment for her patients. She practices evidence based dentistry and bases
her recommendations off of research.
Dr. Allen is an Air Force spouse, and her husband, Nick, is an active duty JAG stationed at Altus Air Force
Base. In Dr. Allen’s free time, she enjoys volunteering to help people with special needs. If she’s not
doing that, she can be found curled up with a good book or going on long walks with her husband.
