Dr. Lejla Streets, DMD

Fort Bragg (Formerly Fort Liberty)

Originally born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Lejla Streets grew up in Boston, MA. She pursued her undergraduate education at Rochester University in New York, earning a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and immunology. Returning to Massachusetts, she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

After completing her studies, Dr. Streets joined the US Army as an Active-Duty Dental Officer, serving at Fort Bragg for five years. During this time, she developed a deep interest in Obstructive Sleep Apnea therapy and Orofacial Pain. She currently holds the prestigious Diplomate designation with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She also received her certificate in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Continuing her education, Dr. Streets has received training in various specialized areas, including implant placements, interceptive orthodontics, myofunctional therapy, dental sleep apnea, orofacial pain, cosmetic dentistry, and tongue-tie releases. This extensive knowledge allows her to offer a wide range of treatment options to her patients. With over 900 hours of continuing education credits, Dr. Streets makes her commitment to learning a priority!

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Streets enjoys an active lifestyle. She loves playing tennis, tending to her garden, practicing yoga, hiking, coaching her children’s sports teams, and spending time with her husband. Her passion for holistic healthcare extends beyond the office as she believes in the importance of maintaining a balanced and healthy life.
