Dr. David A. Beltran is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons.
Throughout his career, Dr Beltran has taken great care of thousands of patients. He performs procedures to include IV sedation, general anesthesia , wisdom teeth removal, dental extractions, dental implants, s, facial trauma procedures, and more.
He takes great pride in getting to know and listening to his patients and taking care of their surgical needs with his extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. David Beltran is a native Texan. He attended Texas A&M University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. There he discovered his love for the military lifestyle and commissioned into the US Army Dental Corps.
He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School.
He spent his first three years in the Army as a general dentist specializing in cosmetic dentistry and dental surgical procedures. He then completed a rigorous oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, where he served as chief resident and had extensive training in anesthesia, facial trauma, and medical management of patients.
He spent the remainder of his Army oral surgery career at multiple duty stations, where in addition to maintaining a full scope oral surgery practice, he served as chief of the respective oral surgery departments, and he served as a mentor in residency programs where he trained oral surgery residents, dental residents, and other medical professionals in the art of oral surgery.
Dr. Beltran rose to the prestigious rank of Colonel, and after serving over 20 years, he retired honorably out of Fort Hood, TX. He currently serves as the Oral Surgeon for Docs Dental Clinic, Fort Cavazos, Texas.
When not performing surgery in the clinic, Dr. Beltran enjoys spending time with his wife Jeannee and their two children Blake and Brianna. He also enjoys hiking, bird watching, reading, playing baseball, attending Aggie football games, and traveling the world as far and wide as possible.
Dr. Beltran has proudly served our country, earning numerous military awards, and is now grateful for the opportunity to serve families right here in Central Texas for all of their oral surgery needs.
