Dr. Ashton Short, DMD, is an Army Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon currently serving on active duty at Fort Stewart, GA. He recently completed his residency training at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, where he developed expertise across the full scope of oral surgery—including dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, and advanced anesthesia care.

Dr. Short enjoys combining surgical precision with compassionate patient care, helping patients find relief from pain, restore function, and regain confidence in their smiles. Outside the clinic, he and his wife love exploring the outdoors—hiking, kayaking, and camping with their dog, Penny—as they get to know the Georgia coast.

He is excited to join the DOCS Dental community and looks forward to supporting military families and retirees with advanced surgical care and a team-based approach.
